What up?

 Hello all. I'm Taylor. Welcome to my blog! I'm a lady in my 20's and I like to share cool stuff. - so let's do this thing. Shake, rattle, and roll.

LIST (about me)! bam: 

~ making things

~ peonies are very pretty.

~ I teach yoga and I love to run! I've also recently taken up hula hooping....and it's preeeetttty sweeeet. I also quite like basketball - though my offensive game hasn't existed since middle school (working on that)...at this point, i'm better at watching it.

~ dig the blues, funk, punk, girly junk, gangster rap, and almost everything in between and around. I mean, just the stuff that isn't bad. :} move me, baby.

~ I like whiskey. My dad says that some day it'll make me ornery.

~ sing and make music. It can refresh and allow me to tap into happiness that sometimes hides. I am still working on my somewhat latent guitar skills. I've been told I play with "Taylor rhythm." I cannot seem to break myself of it. 


~ camp, hike, and backpack. I will take a sleeping bag on rocky ground in the trees and mountains over hotel sheets any day!

   

~ lived in Copenhagen, DK (and traveled to Helsinki, Finland and Stockholm, Sweden) for a summer (studying at the Danish Design School) and traveled to Guatemala over spring break for a trip to bring dental and medical care to some of the impoverished areas there. Hearts in Motion - fabulous organization - check it out. :}

~ I have fabulous friends. They keep me in some sort of mental state whether it be helping me towards sanity or taking part in the insanity. They're all so lovely. Couldn't get everyone in the photos but ya'll know who you are.

~ I love my parents to death and feel wildly lucky to have them.  They are also very bizarre people.

~ my hometown. Marvelous place of about 1000 people, most of which are artists or farmers or just all around lovely people. - I've got lots of places to live and travel to yet - but I shall definitely be returning to raise my children in those rolling hills.

The internet and machines freak me out, so this is my way of making nice before the eminent robot uprising. 

Well, that - and I'm looking forward to having a forum in which to share pretty and awesome things! :}
I've been reading a plethora of blogs for a while now but I'm still figuring out how to publish my own...so bare with me. :} 

I won't classify anything just yet. Let's just let things rumble and roll and see where they go. You can expect lots of images, thoughts, links, and mass amounts of miscellany (and some recipes)! I will, however, focus on the things that interest me....Perhaps they’ll interest you too. :}
